Cultivating respect for Men – The gift of welcoming and embracing his No 💥
Ladies, how do you respond to your mans NO?
When it comes to masculine provision, what is rarely talked about is that what he chooses to say NO to is just as important as his YES.
ie/ what he chooses to NOT give you is just as important as what he does give you.
When we as women begin look at our capacity to receive His firm grounded NO we are given a profound invitation to learn how much we REALLY respect, honour and revere men in their truly embodied maleness.
So, when He says NO, what happens?
– Do you get angry and want to pick a fight?
– Do you collapse into a girly tantrum (aka princess pose) and totally drop the frame of the grown capable woman who has genuine needs?
– Do you fall apart in a Hot Mess of emotions, projections, stories and blame?
– Do you want to explain yourself to him, correct Him or change his perspective so you can get what you want?
These are all ways that we as women have learnt to NOT receive a mans provision when He offers us direction through his no.
Sure, His sword ⚔️of truth can be brutal to our sensitive nature and tender hearts.
But, a calm grounded NO delivered with firmness and from a place of clarity can also bring into places in ourselves that we do not want to face… the places where we hold shadows of still wanting to control, manipulate, direct or distort Him and His Leadership for our own gain or benefit.
YES, we as women have do this subtly we are often unwilling to see the true depths of our disrespect for Him.
If you are unwilling and unable to OPEN your body to receive His NO with grace, notice that.
If you are unwilling to simply sit in the yukky sensations that arise following his No, this is a big clue that you are still holding a posture of disrespect for him as a man.
This pose will taint the polarity if your union, in the most subtle ways… like poison in a well it will seep through slowly but insidiously 🧪
The evolved embodied solution is to learn to hold ourselves through our pain, tantrums and disappointments.. To lean back in respect of his chosen direction… EVEN if we think it is wrong.
Because he deepest truth is that every man needs to be given the space to make mistakes, to fall on his own sword, and to be shaped by his own failings.
This is a big part of what makes him a man.
Your receptivity to His NO allows him to walk this Heros Journey in the way he is designed to do. Alone.
